To support student participation in the research and education efforts of the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center (UKREC) in Princeton, the College has dedicated one of its houses at UKREC (which sits directly adjacent to the UKREC main building) to serve as graduate and undergraduate student housing. This house is for temporary short-term housing and is intended for out-of-town students while they conduct their research and outreach work on the UKREC. The house has undergone a complete renovation to serve this purpose.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms (each with 2 beds for a total occupancy of 6 people), 2 bathrooms, a living area, a dining area, and kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, range/oven, and coffee maker. A washer and dryer is also available in the house for use by students.
The house is provisioned with the following items: bed linens, including sheets and a comforter; bath and hand towels and wash cloths, and paper and cleaning products for the bathrooms and kitchen. Disposable plastic ware is provided for meals.
The house is available for use by graduate and undergraduate students on a first come, first serve basis. To learn more about the use of the house or to make reservations contact the UKREC receptionist at 270-365-7541 ext 0 (direct phone line from a campus phone is 7-9503 ext 0).
