Farm and Home Exhibits Rules, Regulations and Categories
1. Farm and Home Exhibits will be entered between the hours of 12 noon and 5 P.M., Thursday, July 15, at the VoAg Department, Whitley County High School. Exhibits should be picked up between 3 and 5 P.M. on Saturday, July 17. All exhibits left Saturday will be taken to the Extension Service office where they must be picked up by no later than Tuesday, July 20, during the office hours of 8 A.M.-12 noon and 1-4:30 P.M.
2. Viewing schedule will be 1 to 7 P.M. on Friday, July 16, and 1 to 5 P.M. on Saturday, July 17.
3. It is requested that all entries remain on display through Saturday morning to conform to regulations, but exhibits can be picked up sooner if it is more convenient.
4. Fair Management reserves the right to combine classes with fewer than three (3) entries and/or two (2) exhibitors.
5. There can be only one (1) entry per class. All entries must be prepared, crafted or grown by the exhibitor.
6. Fair Management reserves the right to interpret and resolve all matters connected with, or incident to, the Fair.
7. Food, fruit and vegetable entries should be brought and entered on paper plates.
8. Only ribbons will be awarded.
9. After judging perishable items, Fair Management reserves the right to donate excess items to needy families throughout the county.
10. All canned items must be in standard canning jars, labeled and sealed.
