FALL PROJECT
The Community Youth Gardening Project is administered through Extension, St Catharine College Dominican Earth Center, Washington County School System, Washington County Industries, and the Washington County Health Dept.
Local special needs children meet each week to learn about gardening, nutrition, art and the importance of teamwork. Students have started their own seedlings and built boxes for square foot gardening. The children range in age from 8 to 18.
Special Need Adults will take care of the garden when the students are out for the summer.
