South Central Kentucky 4-H Horse Camp

The South Central KY 4-H Horse Camp Committee has been working very hard to present a quality 4-H horse camp in 2011. The committee has rented all of the facilities at the L. D. Brown Ag. Expo Center and Equestrian Center in Bowling Green.  Due to the preparation of the 4-H Horse Camp all fees must be paid at the time the application is submitted and there will be NO REFUNDS.  Below you will find all the information and forms that are needed for the South Central 4-H Horse camp. A complete application form is needed for EACH PERSON ATTENDING -- All checks should be made payable to your County 4-H Council.

Registration Deadline March 9th $76.00
Cloverbud Registration March 9th $25.00
Horse Lover Registration March 9th $25.00
Check -In April 20th 10 a.m. - Noon
Closing April 22nd 3:00pm

Each 4-H’er must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending South Central KY 4-H Horse Camp must have a valid 4-H volunteer application form and background check on file in their County Extension Office. Instructors will be provided for each division. Workshops will be presented in each division in addition to horsemanship and showmanship sessions. Depending on the number of horses, 4-H’ers will be divided into the following sessions and divisions:

  • Group 1
  • Group 2
  • Group 3

 

  • Western Performance
  • Contest
  • Walking
  • Racking
  • Mountain
  • Hunter
  • Horse Lover's (w/out horse)
  • Cloverbud (5 - 8 yr olds)
