Gardening Questions

Q:    My vegetables just don't seem to be growing the way they should.  How much fertilizer do I need to apply?

A:        Don't apply fertilizer just to apply fertilizer.  Bring in about a pint of soil about 4-6 inches deep for each test that you want to run.  We'll send it off and we'll tell you exactly what type of fertilizer and how much you need to apply to grow healthy and happy vegetables.  It takes about 2-3 weeks to get the results back to you.  They're free thanks to the Spencer County Soil Conservation District.
