Ballardsville High Riders

Ballardsville High Riders 4-H Horse Club

If you’re an Oldham County kid under 19 on January 1, 2012, and you love horses you will love the “Ballardsville High Riders 4-H Club.”  Even if you don’t own a horse, the 4-H horse program is a great way to learn about horses and meet other kids who enjoy horses.  The club meets monthly.  In addition to business meetings, the club also holds mounted and unmounted meetings on grooming, horse and tack care, and general horsemanship and riding.  We also go on field trips to horse related events.
