4-H Membership

4-H is Awesome

Anyone between the ages of 9-18 may participate in the 4-H program. Many people have the misconception that you have to live on a farm to be in 4-H.  4-H happens wherever kids are. Oldham County has several types of opportunities for participating in 4-H, community clubs, school clubs, and after school clubs. Clubs focus on lots of different interests such us sewing, shooting sports, horses, dogs, gardening, cooking, etc.

If you are younger than the age of 9 and are interested in becoming a part of 4-H, then you will want to contact our office about Clover Bud activities.

To find the 4-H club that is right for you contact the Oldham County Extension Office at 222-9453 or check out the link to Oldham County 4-H Clubs . Most clubs do not charge dues.  If dues are collected it will be a small amount to cover the cost of projects.

In addition to belonging to a 4-H club, youth can participate in our week long summer project days, a series of classes on various subjects.
