Since its beginning in 1969, EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) has made a difference in the lives of those with the fewest resources available to feed, clothe, house, and educate their families. The mission of the Kentucky Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program is to educate limited resource people to acquire knowledge, improve skills, and change behavior necessary to achieve health and well being. This is achieved through in-home client visits, various field day events, and classroom educational sessions for adults and youth. |
