Agriculture Advisory Council

Montgomery County Extension offers educational opportunities to producers and Agri-businessmen on crops, disease, pest management, farm and business management, risk management, erosion control, livestock management and water quality. Programs are offered throughout the year.

UPCOMING MEETING

Cattlemen's Association Meetings held at the Montgomery County Health & Civic Center 7:00 pm Next Meeting will be the Annual Picnic held in JULY, 2008. More info later on that.

The phone numbers to the extension office, are 859-498-8741 or 498-8742 or you can stop by. We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. And we are open through your lunch hour.

If you would like to join the Montgomery County Cattlemen's Association, the dues are $10.00 per person. Contact the Montgomery County Extension Office or one of the officers or directors of the Cattlemen's Association.

The Soil Conservation office has a new Skid loader with trailer and backhoe attachment for rent. Contact their office at 498-5654 for more information. They also have no-till drill seeders for rent. Also, they are taking applications for forage cost share program. They can be picked up at the Extension Office or at the Soil Conservation office.
