  • The phone numbers to the extension office, are 859-498-8741 or 498-8742 or you can stop by.  We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  And we are open through your lunch hour.

  • If you would like to join the Montgomery County Cattlemen's Association, the dues are $10.00 per person. Contact the Montgomery County Extension Office or one of the officers or directors of the Cattlemen's Association.

  • Check out the Cattle Head Shute the Extension Office has for loan at Ag Wood. Other things that AG Wood has for Rental include: Corral panels, Scales, Hay wrapper and Spray Rig. Contact AG Wood for more information and prices.
  • The Soil Conservation office has a new Skid loader with trailer and backhoe attachment for rent. Contact their office at 498-5654 for more information. They also have no-till drill seeders for rent.  Also, they are taking applications for forage cost share program. They can be picked up at the Extension Office or at the Soil Conservation office.

  • Would you like to join one of our homemaker clubs, please call the extension office at 498-8741 and we can help you decide which one would be best suited for your needs. If you just want to receive the newsletters and be on our mailing list, call our office to sign up. The fee for each year is $4.00.
  • The Homemaker lessons for 2008 are listed below.  If you are interested in attending any of these trainings, please feel free to come by the Extension Office meeting room, or if you would like to have the materials from these lessons, call our office at 498-8741.

  • Crocheting and Knitting classes are being held at the Montgomery County Extension Office meeting room.   Come by and join this group. They are having a wonderful time and would like you to be apart of it.  The Warm Up Montgomery County project has help many people and made over 5400 articles including afghans, & caps for premature babies. Donations are always welcome and desperately needed.
