Effective July 14, 2008 there is a new Meeting Room and Key Check-out Policy.  Click to view a copy of our Meeting Room Policy.  The Extension District Board has reviewed the policy and voted and agreed to implement the policy.  The policy applies to all groups that use the Meeting Room without a member of Extension Staff present.

MENIFEE COUNTY AG FIELD DAY
(brand new event)

On Saturday, October 25, we will be offering an educational Farm Field Day at the Ottis Jean Lane farm on Hwy 1569 from 10:00 am. until 3:00 pm. and a meal will be provided.

This event will be strictly educational with farm demonstrations, a Beef Quality Assurance chute side training and much more.  We will also be holding sessions for the Phase I programs.  For more information on this, click here.

All farmers are invited to attend this event.

Please be paitent with us during this transition.  We will work hard to try and make these events successful and enjoyable for all those that attend.

HUNTER SAFETY EDUCATION COURSE

This three-day course is scheduled for March 5, 6 and 7, 2009.  It will be held at the Menifee County Extension Office.  The times for the classes are 6 - 9:00 pm. on Thursday and Friday and 9:00 am. until completion on Saturday.

Thursday and Friday will be course work in the Extension Office.  Saturday you will meet at the Extension Office and proceed to the shooting range to complete the course.  You MUST attend all three classes in order to receive your orange card.

The next class will be offered in September 2009.  All times will remain the same.
