Agriculture and Natural Resources

The Agriculture and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization. Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource management and home lawn and garden information. We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

The Premis ID mandate has been put off for now.  They are not going to make it mandatory for each producer to have a Premis ID.

If you would like to go ahead and get your Premis ID number for your farm, contact the Extension Office TODAY for more information.  You may also click HERE to apply on line.  There is no charge to get your ID.

If you need to be BQA Certified, contact the Extension Office.  You are required to take a Pre-Test, watch a 45 minute DVD and take a Post-Test.  The cost is $5.
