John Muir Trail and Overlook

This was a great 5 miles hike, 2.5 miles each direction.  The trail takes you along a ridgeline with very little elevation change.  The overlook has no protective barriers so care must be taken while there.  The begininng of the trail is in Kentucky and at some point you cross over into Tennessee. The overlook itself is in Tennessee. 

When we arived at the overlook we were greated by wind and rain.  This is a nice trail with a great view. We hiked to the trial via a spur from the Divide Road that connected up with the John Muir trial about 1/2 mile from the overlook.
