Consider attending the Kentucky Beef Conference on October 27th at the Fayette County Cooperative Extension Service located between Broadway and Versailles Road at 1140 Red Mile Place. If you are interested in knowing the marketing trends in the beef industry, discussing livestock risk protection, and hearing a presentation from Randy Blach, executive vice president of Cattle-FAX and CF Resources, Inc. then you should register at your local extension office. Registration begins at 9 AM and costs $10 which includes lunch and refreshments.

The Kentucky Grazing Conference on Thursday, October 29th at the Princeton Research and Education Center should prove to be an appealing and instructive event that will give good guidance on preparing our fields for the future.
