VISION
As a result of the
Kentucky Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, limited resource
families and individuals will:

and wellness
Improve diet

Reduce hunger
MISSION
The Kentucky
Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program will educate limited resource
people to acquire knowledge, improve skills and change behavior necessary to
achieve health and well being.

Provide
nutritional programs in group meetings, homes, schools, day camps, and after
school programs.

Families are
reached by home visits or group meetings.
Families are
taught a 12 lesson curriculum.
Behavioral and
practice changes are evaluated by analysis at entry and exit by use of food
recalls and a behavior survey.
