The Kentucky Nutrition Education Program will educate limited resource people to acquire knowledge, improve skills, and change behaviour necessary to achieve health and well-being.

Programs are carried out in a wide variety of locations such as:

Schools

Local Agencies

Libraries

Community Centers

2011 FOOD and NUTRITION CALENDARs are now available at the extension office.  Watch Channel 6 TV for demonstrations on these recipes. 

Come in and visit our office and pick up your free calendar!!!

 UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY EXPANDED FOODS and NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM partner with Marion County's 21st Century Learning Center and host a BIG MEAL twice a year (fall & spring) which is a very successful program.

 HANDWASHING PROGRAM is made available to all elementary schools in MARION COUNTY.  Contact Juanita Herron, 270-692-2421.

The Expanded Foods & Nutrition program is very much a part of the annual Arts & Humanities Camp held each summer.  They host the culinary foods segment of the camp.
