UK Cooperative Extension Service will be offering a Horse College II this winter. This series of classes will be held at the Caldwell County Extension Service, Thursday nights on January 24, 31 and February 7 and 14 from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m.
Dr. Bob Coleman, UK Horse Specialist, will present Horse Nutrition and Feeding Non-Conventional Feeds, Facilities and High-Traffic Pads, and Horse Behavior and Management. Corey Payne, Crittenden Count Extension Agent, will present Forage Species, Pasture Management and Toxic Plants. The cost is $30/person, $20 for youth under 16. A meal will be included each night. The class notebook and materials are sponsored by the Kentucky Horse Council.

The Quad-County Grain Meeting will be held on Monday, January 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fredonia Lions Club. The meal is sponsored by Farmers Bank and Trust Company.
