EFNEP Lessons

The University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service trains EFNEP Program Assistants as paraprofessionals to work with families in the county. Limited resource families with young children are the main focus of the program. Typical clients include: young families, new moms, parenting teens, pregnant teens, and diverse cultural groups. EFNEP's success lies in the contributions of these paraprofessionals who lie in the communities where they teach, and use a research-based curriculum coupled with hands-on experience. While other agencies provide food and other help.
