4-H/Youth Development

Our traditional 4-H program is an educational opportunity for youth ages 8 to 19 years of age to met in a club setting and choose from over 150 different project areas.  In Letcher County we have 14 community-based clubs with a total of 376 members.  Through the club setting, other life skills such as leadership, citizenship and public speaking are learned.  4-H School Enrichment programs are also available to all schools in the county.
