Ag & Natural Resources

The Agricultural and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization.  Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource managment and home lawn and garden information.  We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

 

Fruit Spray Class

     This class will be on Thursday March 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Letcher County Extension Office located at 478 Extension Dr. in Whitesburg.   This class is free and open to the public.  Please call 633-2362 to reserve your space in this class.
