CYFAR (Children Youth Families at Risk)

The Lawrence County CYFAR Program provides educational life skills programs for middle school youth.  THe primary audience is a core group of youth in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  The primary program content is life skills development, particularly in leadership, communication, community service, planning/organizing, decision making, and self-responsibility.  The CYFAR program is currently active within 4 schools in Lawrence County:  Blaine Elementary School, Fallsburg Elementary School, Louisa Elementary School, and Trinity Christian Academy.

Educational programs of the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service serve all people regardless of race, color, age, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.
