EFNEP
The Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a federally funded program with a trademark for quality. Conducted by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. EFNEP paraprofessionals work with groups and individuals with children to select more nutritious diets and to increase their ability to manage a food budget, food preparation and food safety.
EFNEP participants include Diverse population, Young families, New mothers and Pregnant or Parenting teens.
