Agriculture and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization. Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource management and home lawn and garden information. We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

 


 

University of Kentucky Equine Initiative Presents:
"Minimizing Feeding Costs without Compromising Nutrition"

Join us at the Laurel County Extension Office on Monday, April 16, for this equine workshop presented by Dr. Bob Coleman, UK Equine Extension Specialist.  There will be a brief presentation after the workshop about the Kentucky Equine Survey that will be conducted in Summer 2012.  Dinner will be provided for workshop participants, but pre-registration is required.  To register, contact our office at 606-864-4167.
