4-H Area Variety Show

Congratulations to all the 4-H Talent Show participants, you all did a wonderful a job!  
Participants were: 
Lindsey Beckner, Sierra Mullins, Michaela Rock, Sarah Herron, Chloe Owen, Leslie Pike, Amber Lyall, 
Mariah Baumgardner, Tara Warren, Andrew Coy, Anne McCubbin, Kenzi Langley, Megan Mier, Haylee Best, Amanda Adyani, Whitney Heath, Allyson Hutchins, Ethan Hedgespeth, Ryan Henning, Kayla Rutledge and Kelsey Sallee.  
Results are as   follows:
Junior Vocal—Mariah Baumgardner, Champion and Kenzi Langley, Reserve Champion; 
Senior Vocal—Tara Warren, Champion and Amber Lyall, Reserve Champion; 
Junior Physical Skills—Amanda Adyani & Allyson  Hutchins, Champion and Ryan Henning, Reserve Champion; Junior Instrumental—Leslie Pike, Champion and Ethan Hedgespeth, Reserve Champion; 
Senior Instrumental—Megan Mier, Champion; 
Junior Theatrical—Michaela Rock and Sierra Mullins, Champion and Lindsey Beckner, Reserve Champion; 
Junior Group Act—Kenzi Langley, Whitney Heath, Haylee Best, Kayla Rutledge and Kelsey Sallee, Champion.

CATEGORIES AND RULES:
Specialty Acts
1-4 people
4 minute maximum
Group Acts
5+ people or 20% of the club's membership
8 minute maximum
Categories are:
  1. Vocal - if using a tape or CD, you cannot have vocals on the tape (instrumental or backup vocals only). You will be placed in Theatrical if singing to a tape of CD with vocals.
  2. Instrumental
  3. Physical Skills - dancing, gymnastics, jump rope, etc.
  4. Theatrical - comedy, drama, lip sync, etc.
  • All props must be provided except for a tape/CD player.
  • Only youth participants may appear in the act.
  • One adult may accompany each act.
  • Champions in each category will represent LaRue County at the Area Talent Show on April 19th.
  • Acts must pre-register by March 24th.
REGISTRATION FORMS may be picked up at the LaRue County Extension Office and returned by Monday, March 24th. The form must be filled out completely and signed by a parent or guardian. You can mail your form to the LaRue County Extension Service, P.O. Box 210, Hodgenville, KY 42748-0210 or FAX it to 358-9418, or drop it off at 807 Old Elizabethtown Rd., across from Magnolia Bank.
