Dustin Worthington
"I Love Cows" Essay Contest

Win a Pure Breed Angus Heifer to be awarded
on April 4, 2008

Applicants must be active member of 4-H or FFA

Application Deadline - February 25, 2008

A memorial award has been established in the name of Dustin Worthington. Dustin worked full time with the cattle industry, until his death on April 4, 2000. Dustin's main interest in life was working with cattle. The award established is a heifer calf that is presented to a 4-H or FFA member. The purpose of the program is to share the passion Dustin had for working with cattle. The goal is for youth to develop their heifer and to potentially start their own herd and become a profitable business that can someday aid in paying for their higher education. Each year the awards will be presented on April 4. Winners and past winners are encouraged to give back to the program by donating the first-born heifer to continue the program for future years.

Interested 4-Hers should turn in completed form with attached essay to the Extension Office by March 1st. Applications may be obtained by calling the Extension Office (358-3401) or stopping by at 807 Old Elizabethtown Rd., Hodgenville, KY.
