Annual 4-H Candy Bar Sale Fundraiser
See prizes below!

The annual LaRue County 4-H Candy Sale Fundraiser begins Wednesday, November 15th.  All 4-H members are encouraged to participate.  Members sell the 4-H candy bars to earn prizes.  All of the proceeds go directly to support the 4-H program in LaRue County.

The candy bars come in a box of forty bars and include four different types of bars:  chocolate with almonds, caramel, peanut butter and crisp.  They sell for $1 a bar.  Members are allowed to take one case at a time to sell.  When a complete case is sold, candy money should be returned to the Extension Office and the member may choose to sell another case, if they wish.

Candy bars may be picked up or purchased at the Extension Office.  4-H members will need a parent to sign a permission form, in order to participate.  All candy money and unsold candy bars must be returned to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on December 13th.

The candy sale allows the 4-H Council to purchase awards for 4-H members who participate in such events as the talent show, speech contest and poetry contest.  Proceeds also help support the 4-H Camp program and provide camp scholarships.

As an additional prize, one member will also win a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.  Members’ names will go in the drawing one time for each case of candy bars sold.  One winner will be drawn in December at the conclusion of the sale.
