Camp Applications |
| Each year LaRue
County 4-Hers are offered the
opportunity to attend 4-H camp. The date for the 2008 camp is June
30 - July 3, 2008. The camp
is located
on Lake Cumberland near Somerset, Kentucky. Some of the activities offered at
camp include swimming, hiking, folk games, heritage cooking, recreation,
archery, riflery, fishing, canoeing and much more. Cost for the 2008's
camp is $135.00.
The camp
is open to LaRue
County
residents only, for youth ages 9 to 14. Youth
must be 9 years old as of January 1st and must
not have reached their 15th birthday before the
camp date. The summer after a child’s 8th
grade year in school would be their last year to attend
4-H camp as a camper. High school students may apply
to attend 4-H camp as teen leaders.
