Mrs. Puckett’s 4th grade 4-H Club at HES had its monthly meeting on Janurary 14, 2010. The meeting was called to order by President Morgan Mounts. Cody Parrett led the 4-H pledge. Our secretary, Michaela Adams read the minutes of our last meeting and called the roll, which was answered by the member telling their favorite animal. Vice President, Alyssa Young introduced the program. We learned about the Poetry Contest. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Submitted by: Taylor Metcalf, Reporter
The 5th grade 4-H Club at HES had its monthly meeting on January 21, 2010. The meeting was called to order by President Lindsey Shelton. Sophe Pepper led the pledge to the American Flag and Kaitlyn led the 4-H pledge. Our secretary, Jordan Bradley read the minutes of our last meeting and called the roll, which was answered by the member telling their favorite sports player. Vice President Cidney Neagle introduced the program was on the 4-H poetry contest. We also recognized candy sellers and former poetry contest winners Michael Puckett and Jacob Davis. Mrs. hawkins class collected approximately 22,000 aluminum can tabs weighing 14 1/2 lbs. Collection of tabs will continue to take place until the March meetings. |
