The area of food, nutrition and health is exciting, yet ever-changing. Your Cooperative Extension Service provides research based, unbiased information in these areas. Turn to us when you need help with your basic nutritional needs, information on preserving your foods in the healthiest and safest ways, and determining the safety of your food after a power outage. We can also assist you in preparing dishes in a healthier way for the benefit of you and your family.

MyPyramid food plans are designed for the general public ages 2 and over; they are not therapeutic diets. Those with a specific health condition should consult with a health care provider for a dietary plan that is right for them.
