Key Notes…
It was great to be able to get to know so many
of you at the spring KAE4-HA Conference on a more informal
basis than we have previously had the opportunity to do.
There is no substitute for the kind of understanding
that grows out of unhurried face-to-face dialogue.
Thanks also for taking the session on agent
retention so seriously and providing such thoughtful feedback.
I cannot guarantee that all of the recommendations will
be implemented, but I am confident many of them will be.
I have found key members of the administrative team to
be very open to implementation.
Of course, the support you give one another as agents
is a very important component of agent job satisfaction as
well.
We have a great Kentucky 4-H Youth Development
program! However,
I believe we have potential that we have not yet reached.
Together we can become even better in our efforts to
make a difference in the lives of Kentucky youth.
I appreciate what you do, and I believe in
you. I look
forward to seeing many of you at the various summer 4-H
events.
