OSCAR Center

The Oil Springs Cultural Arts and Recreation Center is located on Route 40 West between Johnson and Magoffin Counties. The building, once home to Oil Springs School, now serves as a center for the arts, home to the Bread of Life Ministry, and the second story is now home to New Hope Christian Academy. MEDINA GARDEN CAFE'

 The mural decorated cafe' is available for booking parties and gatherings with a catering option.

CLASSES/WORKSHOPS

OSCAR offers a variety of classes and workshops taught by local artisans. These are taugh throughout the year and can include painting (basics/ landscapes/murals), pottery, stained glass, basic sewing, quilting, painted glass, recycled, folk and much more.  There are also special programs held for children only.

Take a scenic drive down and around Country Music Highway 23! The Country Music Highway Quilt Block Trail honors musicians from the region with beautifully painted quilt block murals created by local artisans and displayed on the side of barns and other notable buildings. Holiday Happenings Craft and Antique Show

This holiday event is a showcase and sales opportunity for local artists throughout the region. It is held the first week of November at the Country Music Highway Museum.
