Survey
. With the March Newsletter we have included a short survey aimed to capture and better define the priorities and level of efforts for the Agriculture and Natural Resources in Jefferson County. This office receives an incredible amount of useful information for you as a farmer, urban grower, and for everybody related or interested in agricultural and natural resources issues. Equally the office has the qualify manpower needed to provide you with useful technical advice and educational programs… to keep you timely informed.
Unfortunately information and knowledge are useless unless it reaches you.
… We need to figure out how often you would like to receive this information, we need to know what kind of information and educational efforts you need, and we have to know the form/means (mail, e-mail, seminars, internet, etc) you have available to receive information.
… We also want to know if you have an e-mail address. It is the best and the least expensive way to share information and to keep you informed.
This office decided to take a risk by asking you to answer and mail back the enclosed short questionnaire knowing that only concerned citizens will respond. We are asking for your help because you are considered a good customer; if this perception is wrong please let us know because we do not want to annoy you. If we do not hear from you (by mail, e-mail, or fax) before March 31, 2003, we will assume you have moved and/or you are no longer interested in our services.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FILL THE SURVEY
:1. Print the survey or request a printed copy to the Cooperative Extension Service Office in Jefferson County. Telephone (502) 425-4482.
2. The survey has five independent sections; each of the five sections included five or more alternatives for you to choose by priority. Mark as #1 to describe the most important issue for you; mark as #2 for the next most important issue for you; mark as #3 for the next; mark as #4 for a less important issue; and mark as #5 for the lowest issue in importance to you. For each group we are asking you to rank five issues. If you want to rank more than five issues, you may do so by following the sequence using 6, 7, 8, 9…, etc.
3. Once you have the survey, please add a $0.37 stamp, fold the peace of paper, and mail the document. We need your name and return address if you do not have an e-mail address; if you want to stay anonymous in your reply, you may call our office or you can send a separate request to keep your name on our list.
