If one of your New Year's resolutions is to save money, the Cooperative Extension Service is here to help.  January thru May, the Cooperative Extension Service will be focusing on ways to add up the savings for you and your family.  Each month we will focus on a different topic with resources and contests to help you save money.  Contact the Hart County Extenson Office for details.

Add Up the Savings:  When Eating Out

Come by the Hart County Extension Office and pick up "Nutrition in the Fast Lane," a handbook for nutrition in fast food and casual dining and register to win a $25.00 gift card to Snappy's Pizza.  Also pick up information about how you can save money while eating out.

Come by the Hart County Extension Office and view the energy savings display on Wall Insulation and receive information on how you can save on energy costs in the home.  Register to win CFL light bulbs and a gift certificate to put towards an energy star appliance.

Come learn the basics of growing your own food.   Not only is gardening a great form of exercise and enjoyment it can also save on your grocery bill.

We can save a bundle by preparing food at home, come learn time and money saving tips to prepare great meals at home.
