Family & Consumer Sciences
The Family and Consumer Sciences component of the Cooperative Extension Service is designed to meet the changing needs of Hart Countians in the areas of Food and Nutrition, Family and economic Well-Being, Housing, Energy and Environment, Clothing and Textiles, and Leadership Development.
A variety of methods are used to transfer research based information allowing every Hart Countian the opportunity to maximize their resources and provide a safe environment for their family. These include: telephone advice, office visits, short courses, guest speaking, publications, seminars, news releases, radio and TV, leader training and general meetings.
