4-H
SCHOOL CLUB MEETINGS END THIS MONTH
This month’s 4-H School Club meetings are the last to be held
this year. Your next 4-H
club meetings will be held in September/October when you will once again
elect officers to lead you in your 4-H Club meetings and activities.
We have had very good club meetings this year.
All 4-H members should be proud of themselves for doing a good
job. You need to thank your
adult club leaders for giving their time and talents in assisting.
Those 4-H’ers that served as officers for the 4-H clubs have
done a very good job. The
Presidents and Vice Presidents have done an excellent job running the
meetings using Parliamentary Procedure. The
Secretaries, Treasurers, and Reporters have done an excellent job of
carrying out their responsibilities.
Remember that we can do an even better job next year.
Harrison County 4-H wants you to develop to a good citizen and
leader.
Even though club meetings are finished for the school year, there
are a lot of 4-H projects and activities that are still going on.
Foods, electric, woodworking, the county fair, the state fair,
4-H Camp, Senior Conference, home projects and other projects are still
to be held. Project record
books will have to be turned in at the end of September for county
judging.
