Small Steps to Health and Wealth Challenge
The Hardin County Market is new program to help you improve your health and wealth. Stop by the Hardin County Farmer’s Market at Lakewood Plaza to sign up on Tuesdays beginning on June 12th from 9-11 to sign up. The program helps you make small steps to improve your health and wealth. Walking fits right in! Sign-ups must be completed by June 26th. June 12, 19 & 26th will be sign-up days; weigh-in, have your blood pressure checked, get your BMI (body mass index) and body fat percent. Starting on July 3rd and then each Tuesday until September 7th there will be displays and discussions about topics that relate to your health and wealth! Program is free but you must sign up at the Market. Topics include: Picture your goal, healthy snacks, cool beverages, fast food fun, walking on the wild side, pocket change and more.
