Master Volunteers in Clothing Construction
Greenup County Master Volunteers in Clothing Construction are volunteers selected for the Kentucky Master Volunteer in Clothing Program based on knowledge background and people skills. Volunteers receive in-depth training in the art of sewing and teaching sewing to others. A written commitment is made by the volunteer to give back a specific amount of time, in the area trained, to Extension and the community. After successfully completing the service hour payback, the volunteer will become known as a Certified Master Volunteer by the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service; and will also be recognized and approved as a "master" in the clothing construction by professionals in the field.
