Wardrobe Planning
The Fashion Magic options are designed for male and female senior
4-H'ers, ages 14 through 19, who have an interest in clothing
and a desire to learn more about successful dressing. The first
option, Wardrobe Planning, is the entry-level project and must
be completed before any of the others. The remaining options may
be taken in any order. The Wardrobe Planning unit is designed
to help 4-H'ers know themselves and their wardrobe better. It
will help them learn to customize their clothing. Charts needed
to complete the
notebook are included in the manual.
In The Marketplace
In The Marketplace is designed to help senior 4-H'ers discover
and learn more about shopping for clothing. They will examine
the market for the best buys for their individual needs. Youth
will be able to identify the similarities and differences among
fashions, fads, classics and style. Youth enrolling in this option
already should have completed the Wardrobe Planning option. Charts
needed for completion of the notebook are included in the manual.
Clothing Coordination
The Clothing Coordination option is designed to help senior 4-H'ers
learn and practice the fundamentals of clothing coordination.
Principles learned can be applied to their existing wardrobe.
The youth will be able to identify wardrobe fundamentals and extenders.
They will utilize coordination strategies using the elements of
design. Charts needed to complete the notebook are included in
the manual.
