Me, My Family and My Friends: Unit I, Grade 4
This project focuses on self-identify, self-acceptance, and relations
with family and friends. The 4-H'ers will learn to define good
citizenship and learn more about self, family and friends through
activities such as helping an elderly or handicapped person in
the community or becoming a pen pal with a relative not frequently
seen. The manual is written in a workbook style.

YouthNet 21 Grade 9 and up
YouthNet 21 is a community-based effort that involves a network
of both youth and adults looking at their community to identify
critical youth issues that need to be addressed. YouthNet 21 strives
to bring about positive changes in communities that will help
make the Commonwealth a better place to grow up in the 21st century.
This publication is designed to guide teens through the step-by-step
process of planning, carrying out and evaluating a community-based
project or program that addresses a current youth issue. This
publication also may be used in conjunction with community-related
programs in citizenship.
