Green County 4-H Poetry Contest
Rules of the Contest | Poems must be the original work of each student submitting entries. Poems from other sources will not be considered. It may be a portfolio piece if written by the student. |
| All poems must be titled and can be on any subject. |
| The length of the poem is determined based upon the age of the 4-H’er. |

| Poems must never have been published or submitted to another agency. |
| No poems will be returned. |
| Poems will be evaluated based upon the attached score sheet. |
| The top 12 poems from Green County will be entered into the Area contest and published in the Area Poetry Book. County winners will receive a complimentary copy of the Area Poetry Book. The top three Junior and top three Senior poems at the area will be framed and presented to their authors at the Area Showcase of Stars. |
