Upcoming Green County 4-H Activities (Central Time)
- Cooking Club Starts - learn basic cooking skills and prepare 4-H Food entries for the county fair. Classes will be on Jan 19, 26 and Feb 2. Must register by Jan 17, club limited to 15 participants.
- Gardening Club Starts - learn basic gardening skills and how to expand them to preservation and entrepreneurship. Participants will be expected to have garden space available at their home. An informational meeting is set for Jan 24 at 6:30pm.
- 4-H Shooting Sports Camp Registration due Feb 1
We need an adult who would be interested in serving as a chaperone for this overnight camp. - 4-H Horse Club looking for new members. Any youth ages 9-18 interested in joining the Horse Club should attend with their parent. New members must join in the fall and attend the Horse educational meetings to participate in district events. Horse Club 2012 Calendar of Events
- Pre Teen Summit (GCMS) - A state wide leadership opportunity for middle school students is the Pre Teen Summit held at the 4-H Leadership Center in Jabez. Registration is due Feb 6.
- Cloverbud Program Cloverbud is open to youth ages 5-8, Call to register and for more details.
- Animal Project Information, Complete the Animal Survey
