Being a parent offers many challenges. Parents want to provide the best nurturing environment for their child, but sometimes they don't know what to do. You can learn how to understand your child's emotional and developmental needs so you will encourage emotionally healthy behavior in your child.
The Cooperative Extension Service is a strong supporter of healthy families, and we can help parents to gain skills that will enable them to become effective parents in areas of discipline and responsibility.

- Parenting of Teens - Learn to manage conflicts and talk about important issues that affect your teen.
- Responsibility: The First R - Learn more about family choices, rules, and responsibilities.
- Raising Healthy, Responsible Children - Learn to understand the emotional and developmental needs of your child.
- Protection & Permanency Parenting Class - Must be referred by caseworker.
