The Extension Homemaker Organization has been an active volunteer organization in Grayson County since 1936.  We have 66 members in 5 clubs, including Mailbox members.

Members strive to promote a better way of life for all through fellowship, education and service.  To share with our community the fellowship that comes through the Homemaker's organization.  The exchange of ideas and the joy of sharing knowledge with others, thus broadening their own lives.

Members participate in a wide range of community activities, as clubs or individually: Community Service, Travel, Education, Health & Wellness, Crafts, Home & Family, Heritage Preservation.  Extension Homemakers are always looking for new ideas - YOUR IDEAS!

The Grayson County Extension Homemaker Association welcomes new members regardless of race, color, sex, age, religion, disability,  national origin, or marital status. Fathers raising families alone are finding solutions to their homemaking problems through Extension Homemaker Groups.
