"Healthy" Apple Crisp                                             

Ingredients:
4 c. tart apples, sliced
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. water                                                              
1/4 c. rolled  oats
1 t. lemon juice
3/4 t. cinnamon

1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
3 T. margarine

 

Place apples in 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Mix water and lemon juice, pour over apples. Mix sugar, flour, oats and spices. Add margarine to dry mixture; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender and      topping is lightly browned, about 40 minutes. Yields 4 servings.
