Orientation meeting involving all new members who are selected to
serve on the Regional Issues and Program Committee.

One to two face-to-face meetings a year to be held in the region.
-
Conference calls may be required.
Responsibilities
-
To
represent all counties in the region/state.
-
To
identify issues relevant to the majority of counties in a region of
the state.
-
To
identify emerging issues that have immediate or future impact in a
region.
-
To
identify work group/teams that are needed to address regional
issues.
-
To
communicate progress of regional work groups/teams.
Qualifications
-
A
commitment to the citizens of the region/state.
-
Understand the philosophy of Cooperative Extension.
-
A
desire to grow professionally.
-
Desire to work with all components and levels of the Cooperative
Extension.
-
Ability to communicate with others.
