Due to the busy lifestyles of today’s families, family well-being is a major concern. One of the key characteristics of a strong family is the ability to communicate. This topic was identified by the Regional Issues and Program Committee as being high priority in the region which resulted in a Family Communication Quick Response Team. The Family Communication Quick Response prepared and sent a survey to county extension agents requesting information related to family communication issues in the counties in which they work. The Family Communication Quick Response Team reviewed the data from the surveys to determine the priority issues in which the team should focus.
