Energy Game
Objective:
Students will play a board game designed to
a) quiz students on important renewable energy issues
b) force players to make energy decisions
c) give students ideas about how to be more conservative with energy
d) emphasize the inter-connection between resources.
Materials needed:
- Wooden blocks to make dice
- Number stickers that fit on blocks
- Game pieces (4 different colors)
- Game Instructions in MS Powerpoint (game-instructions-slides.ppt)
or PDF format (game-instructions-slides.pdf). - Game Questions: game-questions.pdf

Preparation:
Print copies of gameboard, question cards, money cards,
energy cards, and travel cards.
Place stickers on dice to make four different dice:
1. 1's and 2's
2. 3's and 4's
3. 5's and 6's
4. 6's, 7's and 8's
Presentation:
Divide students into groups of 4 and distribute game materials.
Explain game procedures and rules using the slides.
