Substance Abuse Prevention

Prescription drug substance abuse is a serious issue in Kentucky.  In addition, health and environment are at risk because of methamphetamine use, production, related theft, and waste disposal.  Presently, many at-risk populations are unaware of the potential personal and environmental dangers of methamphetamine.  These at-risk populations include:  farmers and large parcel land owners; absent land owners; owners of rental properties and property managers; motel and hotel owners and operators; farm supply store owners and operators; storage unit operations; and in-home caregivers and service providers.
