Kentucky Cooperative Extension Program Coordination
For nearly 100 years, Extension has made a positive difference in the lives of Kentuckians through research based educational programs. Program Coordination approach enables Extension 
to better use resources and become more flexible and responsive to rapidly changing issues and needs of Kentucky communities.
Concepts of Program Coordination
Issues are being addressed by linking field agents with specialists, faculty, associates, and administrators at UK and KSU main campuses and field stations.
Issues are identified using input from County Extension Councils and are prioritized by leaders on the district and state level.
Resources are identified and/or developed on issues with agents implementing programs as appropriate for individual counties.
