Meet the Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources

Darold Jay Akridge serving Bullitt County 1991 to present
Prior to coming to Bullitt County, Darold served as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent in Fulton County (1897-1991). He held two positions while in Washington, D.C. (1984-1987). First as Economist with the Foreign Agricultural Service of USDA, then as Assistant Director of Economics with the National Milk Producers Federation.
From 1978-1984, Darold conducted post graduate work and studies with The Center for Agricultural and Rural Development at Iowa State University. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the University of Kentucky.
